Overview

PhillyTransit is a place to bring together people who care about Philadelphia and its public transportation system, to facilitate dialogue, collaboration and problem-solving. It is meant to be a positive, productive environment.

• Connect riders, employees, decision-makers, and anyone else interested in, dependent upon, or concerned with Philadelphia area public transportation.
• Discuss ideas and solutions to current issues.
• Recognize progress made in the recent past, and expected progress in the near future.
• Meet and interact with other people that care about public transportation.

Saturday, 10AM - 5PM (some sort of gathering after, likely at a bar nearby)

Venue

A few requirements are: 

• A common area where people can interact and socialize without interrupting sessions
• At least one room large enough to hold the majority of those in attendance for the "headliners"
• Two or more other rooms for sessions that will be scheduled on the fly
• Restrooms
• Easy access via SEPTA
• Center City or University City District location
• Will allow coffee/snacks/etc 
• Inexpensive or free

If you would like to present, hold a discussion, or give a talk, email phillytransit@gmail.com, and we'll add you to the Speakers list. Additionally, there will be open time slots during the event for people to sign up day-of to hold a session.
